Malang (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) held an activity on the Implementation of the Career Pattern Policy of High-Level Regional Government Leaders at the Malang City Hall, Tuesday (14/6/2022). A total of 117 administrative officials attended the coaching event opened by the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji.
"Literacy skills, emotional resilience, smart and loyalty must be possessed. Must know when to 'manage' and when to 'lead'. We do not want a superman mindset, but we build a superteam," said Sutiaji.
He asked echelon 3 officials to understand and equip themselves with the qualifications of high-ranking pratama officials (JPT) based on a merit system, as per the spirit of the applicable laws and regulations.
According to him, the regeneration of leadership positions in 10 regional apparatuses will soon be carried out based on qualifications, competence and performance. Of course, also considering the integrity and morality factors.
"Later it will be open. We are looking for people who have dreams, idealism, strong desires. The note is that there must be real work. So that dreams are not just dreams, but become reality," added the man who loves to read.
Meanwhile, Commissioner of the State Civil Service Commission (KASN) Dr. Rudiarto Sumarwono appreciated the Malang City Government's move to collaborate with KASN in developing candidates to succeed the leadership of public services.
"The direction of bureaucratic transformation and our human resources apparatus is changing from comfort zone to clean, competent and serving bureaucracy. So it is no longer business as usual, always innovate better, faster, cheaper," explained Rudi.
Also present at the coaching activity were the Head of the Human Resources and Civil Service Agency (BKPSDM) and the Malang City Government ASN Assessment Team. (ndu/ram)
