Bung Edi: Positive Faction Views for the Progress of Malang City

Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City DPRD held a plenary meeting with the agenda of conveying the general views of the factions on the Draft Regional Regulation (Ranperda) concerning Accountability for the Implementation of the 2021 Fiscal Year APBD, Thursday (23/6/2022).

Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko revealed that there were six factions that conveyed their views and opinions at this plenary session. In general, the factions raised three things, one of which was related to regional income.

"Some regional revenues exceeded the target, some have not been achieved. But overall there is an accelerated trend of increase compared to revenue in 2020, this is positive," explained Bung Edi, Sofyan Edi Jarwoko's nickname.

Bung Edi said, the inputs emphasized by the factions for the good and strength of the Malang City APBD, especially on the revenue side. The factions also observed issues related to spending also received scrutiny on the physical and non-physical side of activities.

"So that there is sufficient Silpa even though last year it was quite large, now the efforts and budget absorption are getting better," he explained.

It is not only related to budget implementation issues that need to be fixed by his party. However, based on the general views of each faction. According to him, the development in Malang City is also something that needs to be evaluated.

"The faction also discussed other urgencies that need attention. Such as the connection with market development, toll exits and others. We are ready for everything to be explained to the DPRD through the next plenary session," he concluded. (cah/ram)
