Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – For the umpteenth time, on Wednesday (22/6/2022) the Malang City Satpol PP held a joint operation to enforce regional regulations (perda). Together with a number of personnel from the TNI-Polri, the Malang City P3AP2KB Social Service, and the Regional Revenue Agency, officers targeted several food and beverage businesses on Jalan S. Supriyadi and lodging on Jalan Klayatan Gang III in Sukun District.

Head of Satpol PP Malang City Heru Mulyono, S.IP., MT after the operation said, his party deliberately held such an operation intensively. The reason is, until now there are still many business actors who do not install e-tax devices and or submit their tax liability of 10 percent of each transaction made.
Heru added, several business actors had previously been given notification regarding the e-tax to be installed immediately and given a summons letter, but it was ignored. Therefore, officers visited several business places to clarify and give a stern warning.
At this moment, officers also confiscated the identity of the business manager or person in charge, who then had to come to the Malang City Satpol PP Office. "From this forced summons, there will be clarity on why the business owner did not install e-tax. Because the 10 percent tax from each transaction is public money that is deposited and must be submitted to the regional treasury, in this case the Malang City Bapenda," explained Heru.
In this operation, officers also targeted a lodging on Jalan Klayatan Gang III which was also suspected of not paying taxes. In addition, based on public complaints, the place was used as a place of prostitution. As a result, after checking several rooms, officers found five unmarried couples, who were then taken to the Malang City Satpol PP Office.
"The five couples will later undergo a trial and it will be decided whether they can be charged with a minor crime (tipiring), coaching or mandatory reporting. All of that will later determine the perpetrators of the act that is categorized as a social disease (pekat). We will intensively carry out joint operations like this," concluded Heru. (say/ram)
