Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government together with the Banjar Regency Government, South Kalimantan held a friendly tennis match at the Jalan Surabaya Tennis Court, Malang City, Saturday (25/6/2022). This activity was held as part of a working visit and tennis training match from the Banjar Regency Government together with the Banjar Regency Pelti.
Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji welcomed the group from Banjar Regency. "We make this activity as a means of fostering friendship between the Malang City Government and Banjar Regency Government. In essence, how do we foster friendship through this sport," he said.
Likewise, the Banjar Regency Government expressed its appreciation to the Malang City Government. The Deputy Regent of Banjar, H. Said Idrus Al Habsyi said that the group that came this time consisted of 33 people consisting of the Youth and Sports Service and also athletes from Pelti Banjar Regency.
"We express our gratitude and appreciation to the Malang City Government. This visit is an effort by Pelti Banjar to establish a relationship with Pelti Malang in particular. At the same time for sparring and study. This is also one of our preparations for the Provincial Sports Week (Porprov)," explained Said.
The group from Banjar hopes to be able to dig up information related to the coaching of tennis athletes in Malang City. "Hopefully you will be willing to share experiences, strategies, and tips so that athletes can excel. So that we can achieve many achievements like Malang City," he concluded.
Also present at this event were the heads of regional apparatus of Malang City. Some of them even represented the Malang City Government in the honorary match such as Drs. Alie Mulyanto, MM (Expert Staff for Development, Public Welfare and Human Resources), Drs. Wahyu Setianto, MM (Head of Malang City DLH), and Drs. Subkhan, M.AP (Head of Malang City BKAD). (ari/ram)
