Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government through the Malang City Manpower, Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service (Disnaker PMPTSP) held food processing training in the implementation of training activities based on the 2022 Competency Test at SMK Kartika IV-1 Jl. Kesatrian 1 A Malang, Monday (27/6/2022).
The series of training events were opened directly by the Acting Head of the Malang City PMPTSP Manpower Office, Siti Mahmudah, SE., MM. In her speech, Siti Mahmudah said that the culinary sector in Indonesia now has a large market and can even compete with the modern retail market. So that culinary business activists are currently required to always be able to innovate in marketing their products.
"Nowadays, many people are not only concerned with the taste of food. But they like different foods. Therefore, we are required not only to have food business ideas. In addition, we also have creative food business ideas, unique food business ideas so that they can be an inspiration for food businesses and of course become a profitable food business," he said.
This training itself is held with the aim of increasing the knowledge, insight, skills, and competence of participants. The goal is for participants to be able to use it as a provision for finding work or starting a business in the culinary field which is currently increasingly popular. So that it can increase income and community welfare.
"After participating in this training, participants are expected to be able to improve their competence and skills, and be able to compete if they want to start a culinary business to increase their income," he added.
This series of food processing training will last for four days starting from June 27 - July 1, 2022 and will be attended by 42 participants. (ayu/ram)
