Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The commemoration of the 29th National Family Day (Harganas) on Wednesday (29/6/2022) in the yard of the Malang City Social Service, Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning Office (Dinsos P3AP2KB) took place lively. The event began with an assembly led by the Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP, Widayati Sutiaji.

This commemoration was also enlivened by an exhibition of various micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) products.
After reviewing the UMKM exhibition, the Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP delivered a message and in accordance with the theme of this national price, namely 'Let's Prevent Stunting So That Families Are Free of Stunting', all elements of society, especially housewives, should play an active role in reducing stunting rates. "One example is by providing nutritious food intake for children, such as adequate vegetables, fruits and fish. We believe that it will prevent triggers for stunting," added the woman in the hijab.
The wife of the Mayor of Malang said that the problem of stunting still covers several areas in this country, including Malang City. However, various efforts will continue to be intensified in order to continue to reduce the figure of 9,3 percent (the number of stunting in Malang City_ed) to below 5 percent this year. Such as providing nutritious food assistance and implementing a healthy lifestyle in every household.
Widayati further said, this family is the smallest component in society and of course if we talk about family, there must be great and extraordinary mothers in it. "Therefore, let's stay enthusiastic and creative regarding how we maintain the health of our families, and that is in the hands of women," she said.
From a family, said the wife of the Mayor of Malang, it has a big impact in suppressing cases of stunted child development. If all families are aware and work together, then resolving the problem of stunting is not just a dream.
