This control was carried out by Satpol PP of Malang City accompanied by TNI/Polri. After being controlled and sealed, the two stalls were not allowed to sell anymore.

Head of Public Order and Security Division of Malang City Satpol PP Rahmat Hidayat revealed that his party carried out the order of the Head of Satpol PP regarding the order firmly. This order is based on the existing standard operating procedures (SOP), namely the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 54 of 2019 and the Regulation of the Mayor of Malang Number 16 of 2015.

"Previously, we have given warning 1, warning 2, warning 1, 2, 3 and before the execution, notification has been given," explained Rahmat.

Even a day before the execution, Satpol PP had already posted that there would be forced control in accordance with existing regulations. The violation was Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2012 concerning Public Order and the Environment.

"That is, carrying out business activities in public facilities or assets of the Malang City Government without permission from the mayor or appointed official," said Rahmat.

Rahmat added, non-judicial operations or administrative sanctions are in accordance with applicable provisions. Based on what is there, there are two stall buildings, namely in the name of Aida and Tampi.

The clean-up is related to emptying and sealing. If there is no one in Aida, then it is sealed and the electricity is cut off. For Tampi, because there is someone there, the goods are emptied with the knowledge of the owner.

The goods are not secured, but removed because they are not allowed to enter after being sealed. So in the future if the seal is damaged, action will be taken in accordance with applicable provisions.

"If there is any seal damage, we will report it to the authorities in accordance with the provisions in force in Indonesia," said Rahmat. (cah/ram)
