Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Together with PT Bestprofit Future (BPF) Malang Branch, the Malang City Government handed over 15 sacrificial animals in the form of goats to those entitled to receive them, Saturday (9/7/2022) in the yard of the local city hall. This synergy is a form of understanding Eid al-Adha to share with others and a form of social piety between the local government and the private sector/entrepreneurs.

That was conveyed by the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko after receiving the symbolic handover of sacrificial animals from the head of the Malang BPF Branch, Andry. According to him, Eid al-Adha is one of the right moments to share excess fortune after being given blessings by the Almighty for a certain period of time.
The man who is often called Bung Edi added that the Eid al-Adha moment is also a moment of testing sincerity and togetherness to increase the faith of Muslims. "By sharing and helping each other, prosperity and harmony will be realized," he said.
Furthermore, the bespectacled man advised that things like this can be used as lessons and reflections in community life, so that it will also create a network of friendship. "By helping each other or lightening the burden of those in need, we will later receive more rewards and welfare in life. We must believe that so that this life is more meaningful," said Bung Edi.
Andry also made a similar statement. He said that with togetherness, whatever is faced will definitely be resolved well. He gave an example of the Covid-19 pandemic which is currently starting to decline also because of togetherness in implementing strict health protocols.
Meanwhile, regarding the distribution of sacrificial animals, it is the result of donations from his employees and has been done in the last three years. In working, he admitted that he always instills a sense of caring for others, so that the work he does is also useful for others around him.
In addition to Malang City Hall, PT BPF also handed over five goats to the Assidiqqi Asy-Syuhada Orphanage in Blimbing District. "Hopefully what we do is useful and sustainable, especially in relation to cooperation with the Malang City Government in other fields later," concluded Andry. (say/ram)
