Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Children's Forum held Capacity Building and Evaluation for the management of the Malang City Children's Forum 2022-2024 at the Children's Forum Secretariat, Jl. Raya Ki Ageng Gribig Number 5, Kedungkandang, Kedungkandang District, Malang City, Sunday (17/7/2022).
The Chairperson of the Malang City Children's Forum, Khailila Arumdapta, said that this activity aims to increase the capacity of the administrators of the Malang City Children's Forum, especially for the newly formed 2022-2024 management period. "Incidentally, this is just a change of management for the 2022-2024 period. Because many of our members have just joined and some have previously joined, so through this activity we are trying to equalize the materials, especially those related to activities at the Malang City Children's Forum," said the woman who is usually called Arum.
In this activity, the administrators of the Malang City Children's Forum were given various materials that are expected to be able to support the capacity of each member. The materials provided include organizational management, problem solving, and also materials on public speaking skills. This is certainly very useful in every activity carried out by the Malang City Children's Forum.
The initiator of the event who is also one of the Mentors of the Malang City Children's Forum, Achmad Lutfi said, in addition to increasing the capacity of the members, this activity is also used as a forum for discussion between administrators related to the programs carried out. "This activity aims to improve the quality and capacity of the administrators at the Malang City Children's Forum, through materials provided by the facilitators. In addition, it is also for discussion, to see what things may not have been conveyed by the administrators in their daily lives," said Luthfi.
According to Lutfi, this capacity building activity needs to be done more often. Because it can hone the abilities of the administrators of the Malang City Children's Forum, especially in implementing planned programs.
In addition to capacity building, an evaluation was also conducted on the administrators and facilitators who assisted the performance of the programs of the Malang City Children's Forum administrators. This evaluation was conducted to see what programs had been running and which had not been successfully realized, and also what obstacles might hinder the realization of the program.
