Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – Opened with the performance of Sifaul Qolbi's hadrah art, the Kali Brantas Festival was held in Kampung Biru Arema, Kidul Dalem Village. Klojen Sub-district Head Heri Sunarko was present to open the event, Tuesday (26/7/2022).

Heri Sunarko said that this activity took the theme Brantas Sungaiku Arema Kampungku. This activity is part of an effort to maintain the cleanliness and sustainability of the river where the river is the pulse and source of life.
"Therefore, the river should not be littered with waste. This Brantas River Festival is part of inviting the community to maintain the cleanliness of the river," explained Heri.
Heri added, before opening the Brantas River Festival in Kampung Biru Arema, he had already walked along the Brantas River and the streets in Kampung Biru. The river in this area is clean and the village is neatly arranged.
"We hope that the cleanliness and beauty of Kampung Biru will continue to be maintained, so that it will be even more attractive for tourists to visit," explained Heri.
Heri hopes that the activities of Kampung Biru will continue to be improved so that in the future, whenever tourists come to this village, they can get a memorable experience. In the future, various village potentials must continue to be explored to be relied on and sold to tourists.
"Today is a series of activities touring thematic villages in Malang City. This is done to enliven the thematic village areas with various interesting activities," said Heri.
Heri also advised the residents of Kampung Biru to maintain order, brotherhood and togetherness. With that capital, it is hoped that Kampung Biru can continue to develop into one of the tourist icons in Malang City. Where its existence is the only one in Indonesia.
"The identity of Kampung Biru Arema is the only one in Indonesia, yes in Kidul Dalem, yes in Embong Brantas, there is no other place. That means you have to be proud to be a citizen of Kampung Biru Arema," said Heri.
The Head of the Malang City Tourism Awareness Group Forum, Isa Wahyudi, admitted that he was happy to be able to hold activities in Kampung Biru. This is part of an effort to continue preserving the river which has actually been a tradition for a long time.
