Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The consistency of enforcing regional regulations for the sake of public order and comfort continues to be maintained by the Malang City Government (Pemkot). One of them is through a minor criminal trial (tipiring) against 44 cases of violations held at the Mini Block Office, 4th Floor, Malang City Hall Complex, Wednesday (27/7/2022).
Head of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) Heru Mulyono, S.IP., MT explained that this trial was a follow-up to the operation held throughout July. "The violations are various, some are related to advertising, public order, alcoholic beverages. There is also a matter of the prohibition of prostitution and violations of boarding house businesses," explained Heru on the sidelines of the trial.
Details of the cases being tried include 10 cases of violations of Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2006 concerning Advertising and 11 cases of violations of Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2012 concerning Public Order and the Environment. Also being tried were two cases of violations of regional regulations related to the sale of alcoholic beverages.
Then there were 10 cases of violations of the prohibition of prostitution and acts and seven cases of violations of the provisions of the lodging business. The remaining four cases were cases of violations of two provisions at once related to prostitution and lodging. "The total fine imposed was Rp18,4 million. all have been deposited into the state treasury," concluded Heru.
The implementation of the trial which has been held for the fifth time is in collaboration with the ranks of the Malang District Court and the Malang City District Attorney's Office. (ndu/ram)
