Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) through the Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) and the Community Information Group (KIM) has achieved proud achievements in the 2022 East Java Public Relations Awards (JPRA) and the 2022 Citizen Journalist Awards (APW).
Six awards in various categories were presented at the peak of the 2022 East Java Kominfo Festival (JKF) in Batu City, Thursday (28/7/2022).
The official website of Malang City www.malangkota.go.id won the title of Best Website I Regency/City in East Java in the East Java Public Relations Award (JPRA) event which was first held in 2022. Meanwhile, for the social media category, Malang City won the title of Best II in East Java.
The Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa in her remarks read by the Expert Staff for Government, Law, and Politics, Dr. Andriyanto, SH., M.Kes, hopes that JKF 2022 and the awards given will be the right momentum to continue to improve the management of communication and information as well as government public services.
"Because the government's only task is to fulfill the needs of the informative community by providing good information that is enlightening and intelligent. Congratulations to all the winners, good luck in your work to be optimistic about East Java Rising," added Andriyanto
Meanwhile, the Head of the Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo) of Malang City, Muhammad Nur Widianto, S.Sos, who was present to receive the award representing the Malang City Government, said that the large role of all parties was the key behind this achievement.
"Alhamdulillah, we are grateful for the achievement which is the result of contributions from all parties as well as our encouragement to continue to improve in presenting information that is fast, accurate, and needed by the public," explained the man who is friendly called Pak Wid.
Innovations in special columns for vulnerable groups, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and Ekraf of The Week as a form of support for economic recovery, development of the Digital Newsletter platform, Wednesday Stunting, to legendary culinary are forms of website and social media development that are widely appreciated by the jury.
No less proud, achievements were also achieved by the Community Information Group (KIM) from Malang City in the Citizen Reporter Award (APW) event. Namely through the second place winner in the KIM Tlogomas Video News category, third place winner in the KIM Karangbesuki Videographic category, and third place winner in the KIM Purwoagung Infographic category.
Not to be missed, the Malang City Exhibition Booth at the 2022 JKF event which presents the progress of one data Malang and various other information and communication technology (ICT) innovations became the Best Booth V of JKF 2022.
Separately, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, expressed his appreciation for the achievements of Malang City and invited all parties to continue to improve and maintain the conduciveness of development.
"The world moves so fast. Information is growing faster and its accuracy also determines the conduciveness of development. So achievements should be a spirit that is increasingly present for the community. Diskominfo and KIM are the front guard of information," said Sutiaji. (eka/ram)
