This spicy chicken feet culinary is very famous among the people of Malang City. One of the senior employees of the stall, Agus, said that Sego Ceker itself has been around since 1987. "The business was started by Mrs. Ika's grandmother, the current owner, in 1987. Now the owner is Mrs. Ika, but the operation of the stall has now been fully entrusted to the employees," said Agus, Friday (29/7/2022).
If you visit this stall, you will only find two main types of side dishes, namely chicken feet and chicken wings. The favorite menu of customers is of course chicken feet with spicy seasoning that will be poured over hot rice. Don't worry if you don't really like spicy food menus. Here there are two choices of sauce, spicy and non-spicy.
For the chicken feet themselves, the texture is very soft. Eating it does not require excessive effort. Once you bite the chicken meat, it can immediately fall off the bone. So is the chicken wing menu. Coupled with the delicious seasoning that is addictive, without realizing it, people have finished a portion of sego ceker consisting of 10 pieces of chicken feet or wings. You can also choose a mixed menu of chicken feet and wings, and will get five pieces for each side dish.
The price of one portion of the menu starts from IDR 15.000,00. In addition, you can also freely choose side dishes, starting from corn fritters, mendol tempeh, chicken heads, and also chicken innards satay. For these side dishes, the price is also very cheap, starting from only IDR 1.000,00.
In the past, customers often called this stall Sego Ceker Carrefour. Because the location of Warung Sego Ceker is right in front of the shopping center. But now the stall has moved across from the Telkom Blimbing building on Jl. Letjend S. Parman, not far from the original location.
In addition to moving to a new location, the operating hours of this stall have also changed. Initially, this stall operated from 21.00-02.00 WIB and currently from 18.00-23.00 WIB. "Since the PSBB, it is not allowed to open until night. In the old location, it was also not allowed until night, so it moved here," he concluded. (ayu/ram)
