Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Changes to the General Budget Policy (KUA) and Temporary Budget Ceiling Priorities (PPAS) for the 2022 fiscal year as one of the stages in preparing changes to the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD). The Malang City APBD for the 2022 fiscal year has been stipulated in Malang City Regional Regulation Number 6 of 2021.

In its implementation over time, the regional government needs to consider policies from the central government or East Java, especially regarding regional financial transfers.
Several policies of the central government and East Java experienced fluctuations in the budget allocation transferred to the Malang City Government, including the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) and Tobacco Excise Revenue Sharing Fund (DBHCHT) from the central government as well as special financial assistance from East Java Province which experienced changes from the allocation that had been set by the Malang City Government in the 2022 APBD.
These are some of the things conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji in a plenary meeting at the local DPRD building with the agenda of delivering the mayor's explanation regarding the draft changes to the KUA PPAS APBD for Malang City for the 2022 fiscal year, Monday (1/8/2022).
In line with the implementation of the 2022 APBD, explained the bespectacled man, the Malang City Government is also compiling the 2021 regional government financial report which has been audited by the East Java representative of the Republic of Indonesia's Audit Board (BPK). "One part of the regional government's financial accountability report is the determination of the calculation of the remaining budget calculation (Silpa) for the 2021 APBD. Then it will be reused and become part of the process of compiling changes to the 2022 APBD," he explained.
In addition, the number one person in the Malang City Government said that in early April 2022 in Indonesia there was an outbreak of foot and mouth disease (FMD) in cattle and goats, which resulted in a decline in the economic sector from the livestock sector. Moreover, the case occurred ahead of Eid al-Adha which is a serious concern for livestock breeders and residents who will perform the sacrificial worship.
