Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – After appearing at the East Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) VII in July 2022, Malang City's gymnastics athletes can no longer relax. They are focused on preparing themselves to appear at the East Java Porprov VIII 2023 in four districts/cities.
Malang City gymnastics coach, Anna Mairatna revealed that after Porprov VII, they are now concentrating on appearing in Porprov VIII. Because currently Malang City only has a year to face Porprov VIII which will be held in Jombang Regency, Mojokerto Regency, Mojokerto City, and Sidoarjo Regency.
"Porprov VII is the implementation of the porprov that was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the schedule, Porprov VIII will be held in June 2023," explained Anna, Monday (1/8/2022).
Anna said, of the 16 Malang City gymnastics athletes who appeared in Porprov VII, only one athlete could not appear in Porprov VIII. Because his age in 2023 will be more than 21 years old.
"Fortunately, out of the 16 gymnasts who appeared in Porprov VIII, 15 gymnasts were able to appear in Porprov VIII," said Anna.
One gymnast from Malang City who appeared in Porprov VII and could not appear in Porprov VIII due to age was Anisa Nur Maulidya. For the other 15 athletes, all of them can appear in Porprov VIII where gymnastics is planned to be competed in Sidoarjo.
The 15 gymnasts from Malang City who are ready to be sent to the XNUMXth Porprov include Anggie Purnama Putri, Anissa Nur Maulidya, Arifani Nur Aisyah, Aubin Raditya Prawira, Aurelia Safa Putri Prasetyo, Dhea Putri Ananta, Evan Rizqi Maulana, Harsen Johanes Putra Mahargo, Muhammad Andhika Irhab Maulana, Nur Chamida Yolanda Sagitaria, Rachel Athaya Maheswara, Rasyifa Cahya Febria Putri, Rivan Adi Kurniawan, Satrio Ramadhan Gustav, Smarra Attaya Galang Kinasih, Viska Fatmala Sephia.
