Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Head of the Malang City PKK TP, Hj. Widayati Sutiaji, S.Sos., MM, attended a fun cooking event with students of SLB C in order to celebrate the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at SLB C Lesanpuro, Kedungkandang (3/8/2022).
Widayati stated that she was happy to be able to attend the activities carried out with the students. She came with the aim of entertaining the students, but was actually entertained by the behavior of the students.
"Alhamdulillah, very happy. We did gymnastics together. Our intention was to entertain the children to be cheerful, but it turned out that we were the ones who were entertained," he said.
Widayati also left a message for teachers and caregivers to help students explore their potential by collaborating with their parents.
"The children here are all born with their own potential. However, that potential will not come by itself if it is not explored. Therefore, the task at school is to explore and find the potential of children with the diligence, patience and skills possessed by educators at school, of course, collaboration with parents," he said.
In addition, Widayati also hopes that the activities carried out with the students will not only stop at this fun cooking event, but can continue to other activities. This aims so that later, after school, the students are able to be independent. must be creative and able to master the current situation.
"So how can schools deliver children to stand on their own. Don't let children when they have finished their education, when they are returned to their families, it turns out they have not received the skills that strengthen the lives of all children," he added. (ayu/ram)
