Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – After going through three plenary meetings, finally on Thursday (4/8/2022) the projection of Malang City's 2023 regional original revenue (PAD) was approved and ratified at IDR 1,6 trillion (one trillion six million rupiah). After the plenary meeting, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji said that the amount had gone through in-depth calculations and studies by regional apparatus organizations together with a number of other parties involved.
In the plenary meeting to deliver the final opinions of the factions on the discussion of the draft General Budget Policy and Temporary Budget Ceiling Priority (KUA-PPAS), Sutiaji also said that there is still a lot of homework that must be completed in the near future. Such as the completion of the construction of Blimbing Market, Gadang Market, and Kedungkandang Square.
Regarding this matter, it was conveyed that the number one person in the Malang City Government had been transferred to the Malang City District Attorney's Office and received assistance from the Corruption Prevention Coordination and Supervision (Korsupgah) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
For the source of PAD Malang City around 83 percent still comes from taxes. While for the general development program in the near future, Sutiaji admitted that he would apply for a soft loan to the central government allocated in the national economic recovery (PEN) program. So that the development plan for the two people's markets is expected to be completed as soon as possible so that the community's economy also continues to grow.
"Although we agree and approve to be discussed in the R-APBD, there are many notes from the six factions. All provide notes that will need to be refined during the discussion of the R-APBD. This means that now we have agreed on the policy with the budget ceiling which will then be implemented into the activity programs," he continued.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Malang City DPRD who is also the Chairman of the Budget Agency, I Made Riandiana Kartika said that the projection of the Malang City PAD could still change, depending on the conditions in the community. Such as the budget allocation for the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) BPJS Kesehatan program of IDR 129 billion, in the 2023 Financial Budget Change (PAK) it will be added by around IDR 20 billion.
