Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – On Thursday (11/8/2022) a plenary meeting was held at the Malang City DPRD building with the agenda of submitting the DPRD Budget Agency's report on the Draft Amendment to the KUA-PPAS of the Malang City APBD for the 2022 fiscal year. From the Budget Agency, Jose Rizal Joesoef read the report manuscript.
From this report, a number of budgets in several regional apparatuses have decreased and some have increased, in accordance with their work programs. Several work programs of the Malang City Government have also received special attention, namely to use a priority scale and must side with the people. Such as maximizing the Kayutangan area, the vacancy of the head of the regional apparatus and the plan to improve the Alun-Alun Tugu area.
After the plenary meeting, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji said, the success and acceleration of the discussion process has been completed, he expressed his gratitude to the council members. Basically, the vision of Malang City is a friendly city and siding with the community.
"There are several inputs related to the Malang City program, such as the plan to build a pedestrian area around Alun-Alun Tugu and there are concerns that it will not be completed," he added.
Mayor Sutiaji added, if there is another mechanism the program can be completed and there should be no shadow. Because the Malang City Government is optimistic that it can be completed well, and there should be no worries about not being completed. "For the parking problem in Kayutangan or on Jalan Basuki Rahmat this year it can be completed and people can turn to enjoy the Kayutangan corridor which is one unit. So that from this area it will also boost tourist visits," he explained.
For the vacancies of the 10 heads of regional apparatus highlighted by the council, Sutiaji explained, they have now been filled by definitive officials. So that they can absolutely make decisions/policies. "Currently, the interview bidding is open, we realize that if it is not filled by definitive officials, then accountability will definitely be lacking. Many applicants from outside the city also participated, such as from Batu City, Malang Regency, and Kediri," he explained.
No less interesting, the number one person in the Malang City Government will later create a special application to maximize the growth rate of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Every month, ASN will be required to shop and buy MSME products with a certain amount that will be deducted from their monthly salary. "Thus, it will also boost the economy, especially among MSME actors," concluded Sutiaji. (say/ram)
