Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – In order to welcome the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the Malang City Government held a joint prayer at the Baiturrahim Mosque, Malang City Hall, Tuesday (16/8/2022).
The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji expressed his gratitude to all religious and community leaders, because Malang City can be safe and conducive. All of this can be done through togetherness, mutual respect, and mutual cooperation.
"We hope that this activity can further increase the fighting spirit, how to continue to practice the noble values of the nation to advance Indonesia," explained Sutiaji.
The fighting spirit, he said, practicing the noble values of the nation that have been exemplified by the nation's predecessors must continue to be inflamed and preserved. Where unity and togetherness are the keys to achieving various successes.
The independence of the Indonesian nation cannot be separated from togetherness, including religious figures, whether Islamic, Hindu, Buddhist, Catholic, Christian, Confucian, or other belief systems.
"We express our gratitude, hopefully the commitment that has been built can be maintained. Malang is a miniature of Indonesia," said Sutiaji.
Sutiaji also said that from the speeches of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, the Chairman of the MPR RI, and the Chairman of the DPR RI, in fact, optimism is that mutual cooperation has become a common strength. For example, in overcoming Covid-19, the government and all parties work together to solve the problem.
"There is no other country where the RT/RW, LPMK, DKM levels are not paid according to their function. Therefore, Indonesia has an extraordinary achievement in becoming a country that is measurably able to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic," concluded Sutiaji. (cah/ram)
