Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The ceremony to commemorate the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, which was held in front of Malang City Hall, took place solemnly, Wednesday (17/8/2022).
Acting as the ceremony inspector, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji. The ceremony commander was Major Infantry Cahyo Widodo from Rindam V/Brawijaya. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Malang City DPRD, I Made Riandiana Kartika served as the reader of the proclamation text.
Mayor Sutiaji reminded everyone after the ceremony that it is everyone's responsibility to continue the struggle to realize the ideals of the independence of the Indonesian nation and state.
"Indonesia is extraordinary. In the midst of extraordinary global challenges, we are a barometer of the world economy. We strengthen our patriotism, mutual cooperation, our economy is people's, that's the spirit," Sutiaji emphasized.
In this ceremony, three members of the Malang City Flag Hoisting Troop (Paskibraka) were appointed as flag raisers, namely Maulana Azis Saputro (SMKN 4), Keikoo Revasthie Dzikra Narandra Permana (SMAN 10), and Abyaz Sultan Hidayatullah (SMA Panjura).
The three of them were part of the 75 members of the Malang City Paskibraka commanded by Second Lieutenant Kal. Indra Sukmana, S.TR.HAN from Abdurrahman Saleh Air Force Base.
The spirit to recover faster and rise stronger was also strengthened by the musicalization of national poetry read by Atanasius Ganang Widyatama (SMAN 8), Joan Sabrina Aulia (SMAN Taruna Nala), and Naswa Yasmin Pramesti (SMAN 8).
Also present at the ceremony were the Forkopimda of Malang City, heads of regional apparatus, members of the DPRD, representatives of universities, the business world, the media, communities, and veterans of the war of independence. (ndu/ram)
