Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The series of celebrations for the 77th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia held by the Malang City Government from 11-19 August 2022, ended with group exercise at the Gajayana Stadium, Malang City, Friday (19/8/2022).
The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji participated in morning exercise with the heads of regional apparatuses, as well as hundreds of state civil servants (ASN) and employees of the Malang City Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD).
Sutiaji hopes that this joint exercise with all ASN can become a routine agenda carried out by the Malang City Government. According to him, activities like this can lighten the atmosphere and also strengthen the sense of togetherness in the Malang City Government environment.
"Today, together with all of you, we will lighten the mood. Grateful for the joy of independence, we will fill the red and white that flutters in the universe and burns in our souls," he said.
Furthermore, Sutiaji also revealed that there were aspirations from the community regarding the celebration of the 77th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence. The aspirations from the community were in the form of a desire for a celebration of the 77th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence that was different from previous years by highlighting local cultural wisdom. He hopes that later, the aspirations of the community can be realized by the Malang City Government.
In addition to morning exercise activities together, the peak of the celebration of the 77th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence was also filled with the continuation of traditional competitions followed by female participants. Among the competitions were the gobak sodor competition and also the dagongan competition (ayu/ram)
