Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Fire Department (Damkar) introduced colonial heritage fire engines and a Damkar vehicle tour to school children, Wednesday (31/8/2022). Head of the Malang City Fire Department UPT, Muhammad Teguh Budi Wibowo said that his party introduced the profession of firefighter to students, both PAUD, TK, SD, SMP, and SMA.
"We open a service for education and tourism using a Fire Engine every Monday-Thursday. To use it, just submit a request to the Fire Engine to make a schedule," he said.
The cars used are diverse, ranging from the oldest colonial cars to the newest cars. In addition, visitors can see the history of the Malang City Fire Department.
"This building is also a Dutch legacy and the bell is still used today," he concluded. (cah/ram)
