Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The queues of vehicles that occurred at a number of gas stations in Malang City on Wednesday (31/8/2022) evening became the focus of the Malang City Government and Pertamina Malang.

The identification results obtained information that this was triggered by the issue of an increase in the price of subsidized fuel starting September 1, 2022. Regarding this issue, the Head of the Economy, Infrastructure and Natural Resources Section (Kabag PISDA) of Malang City, Ir. Yayuk Hermiati, MH asked the public to remain calm and not be influenced by issues.
"Until today, there is still no policy on price changes for Pertalite and Solar. We in the Malang City Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID), according to the mayor's direction, also routinely communicate with Pertamina to monitor policies and stock availability," explained Yayuk.
Sales Branch Manager Malang Raya PT. Pertamina Patra Niaga, Ahmad Ubaidillah Maksum explained that until today there is no certainty regarding the increase in the price of pertalite and diesel.
"As of today, Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Dex have dropped in price. For the stock of all our products, it is safe and sufficient for the Malang area," explained the man who is familiarly called Ubaid, Thursday (1/9/2022).
In detail, Ubaid explained that Pertamax Turbo as of September 1, 2022, dropped from IDR 17.900,00 to IDR 15.900,00 and Dexlite dropped from IDR 17.800,00 to IDR 17.100,00. Meanwhile, Pertamina Dex dropped from IDR 18.900,00 to IDR 17.400,00.
