Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Jer Basuki Mawa Beya Flag has arrived in Malang City, Thursday (22/9/2022). The Jer Basuki Mawa Beya Flag was paraded around all regencies/cities in East Java in the framework of the 77th Anniversary of East Java Province.
Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko received the Pataka Parade Team in a welcoming ceremony at Malang City Hall. In this procession, Bung Edi, his nickname, received the Pataka from the Head of the Malang Regency Civil Service Police Unit, Firmando Hasiholan Matondang, then it was handed over in a relay to the Head of the Malang City Civil Service Police Unit, Heru Mulyono, who is the Malang City Civil Service Police Unit Parade Team. Furthermore, the Jer Basuki Mawa Bea Flag was paraded to Batu City.
The arrival of the Pataka Jer Basuki Mawa Beya was welcomed by personnel from Satpol PP, firefighters, and linmas. The heads of regional apparatus in Malang City were also present at the East Java Province Pataka Relay Ceremony.
At this assembly, Bung Edi also read the Ripta Prasasti. This Ripta Prasasti contains a short message from the Governor of East Java written on palm leaves.
In the Ripta Prasasti, East Java Governor Khofifah invited all regional leaders to always maintain consistency in synergy and collaboration in building progress and improving the welfare of the East Java community. "This is an important message so that the community understands and remains in the corridor in accordance with the goals of the East Java Province," said Bung Edi.
Bung Edi also said that the essence of the anniversary celebration is self-awareness and introspection as a form of gratitude. "Why was East Java Province established, what is its purpose. Now where is its position, has the goal been achieved? If not achieved, which side should be done. If so, we evaluate. In the future, this is our task to complete," he concluded. (ari/ram)
