Starfruit, (malangkota.go.id) – Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji attended the Regional Coordination Meeting for Initial Data Collection of Socio-Economic Registration (Regsosek) at the Atria Hotel, Malang City, Tuesday (27/9/2022).
Mayor Sutiaji said that his presence with the Chairperson of the Malang City PKK, Chairperson of the DPRD, Malang City Police Chief, Forkopimda is proof of the seriousness of Malang City. With the completeness of all components in Malang City in supporting Regrosek 2022, it is hoped that everything can run smoothly and successfully.
"We must make Regsosek 2022 a success. Updating this data is very important for future policy making, especially related to poverty alleviation," explained Sutiaji.
In the activity entitled recording to build a country with one data on social empowerment programs for the community, Sutiaji conveyed the importance of synergy. Where through synergy will become a strength to jointly succeed Reksosek 2022.
"In principle, we are ready to help make Regsosek a success, which is a follow-up to Presidential Instruction Number 4 of 2022 concerning the Acceleration of Extreme Poverty Eradication," said Sutiaji.
Sutiaji also said that data is dynamic and will continue to develop. Therefore, he emphasized the importance of synergizing to strengthen data update literacy for the welfare of the community.
With the full support of the government and the community, it is expected that officers can carry out their duties in accordance with the mandate they are entrusted with. Obtaining quality, accurate data, and in accordance with what is in the field.
"Hopefully the data collected by BPS can be accessed and help Malang City in regional development," said Sutiaji.
Awareness to make data collection successful is very important, where the key words are valid and up-to-date data. Data accuracy is an equally crucial emphasis. Accurate data as it is is delivered.
Head of BPS Malang City, Erny Fatma Setyoharini, SE., MM revealed that the implementation of Regsosek 2022 will involve various parties. Data collection is carried out through door-to-door census by BPS partners, social workers in sub-districts, youth organizations, data work groups in sub-districts and others.
"The data collection will be carried out by 1.340 data collection officers from October 15 to November 14, 2022. The target is all residents of Malang City. Residents who are being recorded need to prepare population documents, such as KTP and KK," said Enny.
Regsosek activities are held with the aim of providing a system and database of the entire population consisting of profiles, socio-economic conditions, and welfare levels. The database will become a reference for targets and integration of social protection and economic empowerment programs in the future.
Regsosek will be carried out in six stages, starting from technical coordination and consolidation and data collection. Preparation of the Regsosek database and technical data needs and data collection in 2022.
