Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Nowadays, the food and beverage provider business is increasing from year to year along with the increasing population of Indonesia, as well as the welfare which is also increasing every year.

The players in this industry are also competing to make various innovations to attract public interest. One of them is done by Senjani Kitchen. One of the MSMEs in Malang City was founded by Abdul Latif or who is familiarly called Ibeng. At that time he was still in college in 2018.
Not only because he enjoys cooking or just looking for profit, Ibeng, the founder of Senjani Kitchen, believes that human eating patterns greatly determine their health. Therefore, this UMKM, which is located on Jl. LA Sucipto, Blimbing, Malang City, strives to provide food that is not only delicious and filling, but must also be able to meet the nutritional needs of its consumers.
“Indonesia is experiencing very concerning nutritional problems. Such as stunting in infants reaching 27,7 percent, obesity 25,8 percent, and the prevalence of non-communicable diseases 69,9 percent. In short, the biggest cause of nutritional problems is diet. Almost every day Indonesians consume risky foods such as sweet foods and drinks, fried foods, foods with seasonings, instant foods, and others. Another concerning figure is 95,4 percent. Indonesian people consume less vegetables and/or fruits. Food can be a double-edged sword for humans, it can be a medicine or conversely it can invite disease. Therefore, it is very important to always consume nutritious food every day,” said Ibeng when telling the background of the establishment of this business.
Senjani Kitchen provides catering packages for daily and events. Senjani Kitchen products consist of basic daily catering, reusable boxes, family packs, diet packages, kiddy & baby meals, and event catering. The prices vary greatly depending on the type of product desired. For example, event catering is priced from IDR 15.000,00 to IDR 50.000,00 per serving, for basic daily catering from IDR 17.000,00 to IDR 21.000,00, while for baby and kids meals from IDR 16.000,00 to IDR 25.000,00.
Another advantage is that Senjani Kitchen does not charge shipping costs to its customers. Delivery of packages for consumers for breakfast starts at 05.30 WIB, for lunch starts at 10.00 WIB, and for afternoon meals can be delivered starting at 14.00 WIB. Ibeng said that by ordering catering, consumers can save at least around 12,5 hours a week for cooking.
Now, Ibeng, assisted by 12 employees, can serve consumers in the Malang Raya area. In the future, Senjani Kitchen will also open branches in Surabaya, Gresik, and Sidoarjo.
