Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Pancasila Sanctity Day was commemorated by the Malang City Government (Pemkot) with a solemn ceremony in the yard of Malang City Hall, Saturday (1/10/22).
The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji when met after the ceremony gave a message and invited everyone to always make Pancasila the foundation of national and state life.
"Earlier in the pledge it was mentioned that since the proclamation of the Independence of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 1945, in reality there has been a lot of subversion," explained Mayor Sutiaji who also acted as the ceremony inspector.
According to him, Pancasila is extraordinary. From the 1st principle to the 5th principle, if viewed from top to bottom or vice versa, it has an extraordinary hierarchy and connection. The religious values contained in the first principle are not only literary but are also implemented into the humanitarian values in the second principle.
"The first principle gives birth to the second principle, then the second principle, if truly internalized, then the third principle of unity emerges. And to organize unity and oneness, in the midst of diversity, democracy is used. The goal or objective is justice in all corners, circles and so on. That's the greatness," explained Sutiaji.
He further advised to strengthen the determination to continue to maintain and practice the values of Pancasila in facing all challenges that arise. So that the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia is maintained, and justice for all Indonesian people can be achieved. (eka/ram)
