Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The 77th anniversary of East Java Province was celebrated by the Malang City Government with a flag ceremony in front of Malang City Hall, Wednesday (12/10/2022). Acting as the ceremony inspector, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, Wednesday (12/10/2022).
In this moment of East Java's anniversary, Sutiaji invited the people of Malang City to pray to Allah SWT, so that East Java will be better in the future. Because of the abundance of His grace, today we can hold a ceremony to commemorate the 77th anniversary of East Java Province.
"Alhamdulillah today we can hold a ceremony to commemorate the 77th anniversary of East Java Province. In today's event, I conveyed the speech of the Governor of East Java," explained Sutiaji.
He invited all East Java people to offer their praise and gratitude for the presence of Allah so that today they can still rise. Winning the great battle against the Covid-19 storm.
"Now is the time for us to redevelop our initiative, collaboration, and innovation in the midst of an era that continues to move," he stressed.
The three characters, namely innovation, collaboration, and initiative, were later abbreviated by the governor to IKI. In East Javanese language when asked what the answer is to the challenges of the times. IKI is the answer.
Initiative, Collaboration, and Innovation. Initiative is a fresh approach or path to face all problems. Collaboration is a strong will translated into real action to work together with various parties in solving problems. Innovation is the practical implementation of a new idea to solve problems.
These three things are a must in the spirit of this era. Because the movement of ideas, services, goods, trade, data and information between cities, nations and countries is a necessity for humanity.
Why is the character always put forward in the midst of the solemnity of the anniversary of the East Java Province, considering that we are currently facing an era with new challenges that are not easy to be global in nature. After previously recovering from the world's challenges, namely the Covid-19 pandemic, the world is currently facing new threats, namely the threat of a food crisis, energy crisis, financial crisis and even the potential for a global recession. Whether it is due to the Russia-Ukraine war, climate change, which requires a major transformation in the field of renewable energy.
All of these things are related to challenges that never stop time after time. Everyone needs to change their perspective, change their way of working, change their attitude, change their mentality and change their actions.
