Mayor Sutiaji Offers Condolences to Klojen, Victim of Kanjuruhan

Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) continues to show empathy and concern for the victims of the Kanjuruhan tragedy. The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji and his staff took turns paying their respects to the four residential locations of the victims from Klojen District, Wednesday (12/10/2022).

"We are here not the first and the last. But in the future we (the ranks) will continue to provide assistance," said Sutiaji.

On this occasion, the Malang City Government's condolence route started from the residence of the late Mita Maulidya in Kasin Village. Next, the group headed to the late Najwa Zalfa Abdillah in Kauman and continued to the residence of the late Daffa Fahrudin Wijaya in Kiduldalem Village. The last point visited by Sutiaji today was the house of the late Nafisatul Mukhoyaroh in Kampung Putih.

Sutiaji emphasized that his party through the village heads will monitor the condition of the victims and their families in the future. He gave an example of attention to the continuity of education that will also be given to school-age children left behind by the victims.

Likewise, the treatment of injured victims is also a concern for the Malang City Government.

"There are friends (injured victims) who bought their own medicine, so we will replace it. The receipt is attached, later we (the City Government) will replace it. The verification process is through the sub-district by name by address," added Sutiaji.

In addition, the Malang City Government is also preparing a follow-up assistance scheme for victims of minor and serious injuries worth up to Rp2,5 million per person. The assistance is currently in the process of verifying the data of prospective recipients. (ndu/ram)
