Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – In order to support Islamic boarding schools to produce great generations, the Malang City Government is very serious about organizing various coaching programs. Including holding a strategy for developing Islamic boarding schools to be independent and of high quality to face the era of society 5.0 at the Savana Hotel, Tuesday (18/10/2022).

The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji expressed his hope that Islamic boarding schools can be an incubator for the talents of young people who will have independence in the future. In Islamic boarding schools, young people are equipped with various knowledge.
"Including digitalization to face the era of society 5.0 which on the one hand is a specter, on the other hand, students must be ready for this reality," explained Sutiaji.
Now it can no longer be rigid, the era of society 5.0 has become a necessity. Where in this era something abstract can be realized into a real situation.
For current skills, it is also easy to be in the pondok and can also sell. Can do anything, sell anything so that digitalization does not become an obstacle to the growth and development of children.
Sutiaji added that at this time it must also be removed in the midst of society the bad stigma that naughty children are put in boarding schools. Because there are no naughty children, there are no stupid children.
"It is impossible for God to discriminate against his servants. In the past, in the 2.000s, children who entered science were great children when in fact they were not," Sutiaji emphasized.
Society should not justify great children and children who are not great. Because if in the family there is already a view unlike the older sibling instilling a soul of desire, incitement and arrogance.
Head of the Social Welfare Section of Malang City, Imam Mabrur said that this activity was attended by 80 participants representing Islamic boarding schools in Malang City. The hope is that Islamic boarding schools for understanding religious literacy are already good. However, they must also be able to keep up with the times.
"We hope that the students' insight can increase and their abilities can grow. So that when they later enter the community, they will be more prepared," said Imam Mambrur.
The regulation of Islamic boarding schools provides space for the government to support Islamic boarding school activities to empower the community. Things that can be done include training, improving facilities and infrastructure and various types of coaching. (cah/ram)
