Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The National Unity and Politics Agency (Bakesbangpol) of Malang City held a socialization of the dangers of radicalism as a national alertness step for the people of Malang City in 2022. This activity is part of the government's efforts to encourage the public to actively participate in regional alertness at the Grand Palace Hotel, Tuesday (1/11/2022).
Sutiaji expressed gratitude to be able to meet again in this very good activity to jointly guard Malang City. Where Malang City is a sexy city, including for the development of radicalism.
"Alhamdulillah, today Bakesbangpol Malang City held this activity which can be a joint effort to strengthen friendship to maintain a conducive situation in Malang City," explained Sutiaji.
Sutiaji also delivered material on strengthening early warning of radicalism and terrorism during the era of global disruption. Where as what the founder of the Indonesian nation, Bung Karno, said, the current struggle will be even harder when compared to the struggle in the past.
"Bung Karno reminded me that my struggle was easier because I was fighting a foreign nation. While your struggle will be harder because your enemy is your own nation," said Sutiaji.
From what Bung Karno said, everyone can learn that there will be a struggle for recognition, a struggle for interests because on average humans have lust. Where lust drives humans to be shown as the greatest, the best, the strongest and so on.
From that attitude, of course, it will become a shared vigilance, including at this time where political conditions are increasing along with the five-yearly activities. For that, shared vigilance is needed to remind us to be more careful in life facing radicalism and terrorism.
Head of Baksebangpol Malang City, Rinawati revealed that this socialization activity is part of an effort to encourage the community to actively participate in vigilance in the region. Providing knowledge and understanding related to radicalism and terrorism.
"Especially to filter various information circulating in various media, including social media, which is currently developing extraordinarily," said Rinawati.
This activity is also part of raising awareness to the community, especially the younger generation regarding the spirit and efforts to maintain the integrity and unity of the Republic of Indonesia. The activity was attended by participants from the Community Early Warning Forum (FKDM) at the Malang City level, FKDM TK sub-district, community leaders, religious leaders, youth leaders and also women's leaders.
