Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The agenda for delivering the Mayor of Malang's response to the general views of the DPRD factions regarding the Draft Regional Regulation on Regional Taxes and Levies was delivered by the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko in a plenary meeting of the Malang City DPRD, Wednesday (2/11/2022).
Bung Edi, Sofyan Edi Jarwoko's nickname, had just read 10 points from the Mayor of Malang's answer when he was interrupted by a member of the Malang City DPRD, Arif Wahyudi.
Mr. Edi expressed his gratitude to the Malang City DPRD who considered all of the 54 points prepared to be read. Hopefully this will be followed up immediately in the special committee forum (pansus). "In principle, we will be simpler, simpler in control and supervision and dynamic in facing changes," explained Mr. Edi.
Bung Edi said, in this plenary session, they discussed regional regulations (perda) submitted by the government to the DPRD for discussion. Because Law Number 1 of 2022, relates to the financial relationship between the central and regional governments. On that basis, the draft regional regulation on taxes and levies was discussed.
