Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko invited students of Kartika IV-7 Elementary School to plant pule trees on Jalan Ksatrian Number 1 A, Saturday (5/11/2022).

Sofyan Edi Jarwoko said that there were actually many activities today, but because he wanted to encourage children to love planting, he came to SD Kartika IV-7. He hopes that the love of planting will continue to be taught to children from an early age.
"The Proklim activity at SD Kartika IV-7 is very good. This is a good event to foster children's love of planting from an early age," explained Edi.
The Deputy Mayor of Malang, who is usually called Bung Edi, added that by planting, children are also taught to care for plants so that they grow well. From here, a strong character will grow to love nature and the environment which is very much needed. "Planting is a very noble activity, not only beneficial for oneself. But also beneficial for society and the future," said Edi.
With many trees growing, of course the oxygen in the environment is increasing and getting fresher. This will certainly have a positive impact with the community becoming healthier, the environment becoming beautiful and also cool.
The principal of SD Kartika IV-7, Fitri Minarni, S.Pd admitted that the Proklim activities at SD Kartika IV-7 were very popular. Not only children, but also parents and foundations are very supportive of this activity.
'We hope that with direct practice of planting, children can get provisions from an early age to love planting and love the environment in real terms," said Fitri. (cah/ram)
