One of the reasons the Malang City Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) is collaborating with the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Provincial Government is because the NTB Provincial Government is one of the recipients of the 2021 TPID Award along with two other regions.

Head of Economy, Infrastructure and Natural Resources of Malang City, Ir. Eny Handayani, M.Si said, success in controlling inflation is one indicator that the local government is building its economy.
"When inflation is controlled, economic growth is good, then we have succeeded in making society more prosperous," explained Eny in NTB, Friday (11/11/2022).
One of PISDA's duties as the TPID secretariat, he said, is to make maximum efforts to maintain inflation, supply and availability of food and affordability of community needs, as well as maintaining effective communication with all lines.
In addition, cooperation with PT. GNE is also being built by the PISDA Section through BUMD Tugu Aneka Usaha in order to fulfill the supply of needs in Malang City and in NTB Province.
Capacity Building participants from TPID Malang City consist of representatives of several regional apparatuses within the Malang City Government, including the PISDA Section, BUMD Tugu Aneka Usaha, Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), Cooperatives, Industry and Trade Service, Food Security and Agriculture Service, Transportation Service, and Communication and Informatics Service.
