The peak of the 50th PKK Unity Movement Day (HKG) activities, Monday (14/11/2022).
The Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP, Widayati Sutiaji, expressed her appreciation to all PKK TPs from the city, sub-district, village, to PKK cadres who have devoted themselves to the welfare of families and society.
"Today we give appreciation to the winners (of the competition) that we have held since January until yesterday. From all working groups, there are winners, there is a competition," he said.
Widayati mentioned several achievements that have been made by TP PKK Malang City, including urban farming which is also supported by Bank Indonesia, the Telang Flower Cultivation Movement (Gerbudbute) which is a collaboration with Bank Jatim. In addition, TP PKK Malang City also initiated the Sam Gepunbasa program which is also a collaboration with private companies.
Various other activities are also carried out by TP PKK to support government programs. As has been done recently is the involvement of TP PKK in the Regsosek data collection activities carried out by BPS. In addition, TP PKK supports increasing regional income with the Tax Awareness Group, for the submission of Tax Notification Letters for Land and Building Tax Payable (SPPT PBB) which reached 98 percent.
"We want to involve more stakeholders so that it does not interfere with the APBD. If we have involved many universities to provide services to the community to be healthy. We also involve psychologists, many with universities," explained Widayati.
Tri Tito Karnavian, in his speech read by the Head of TP PKK Malang City, invited PKK to always be guided by its spirit. Namely as a community movement to empower families. This means that the family must be the focus of attention because the family is the smallest unit of society. "If we can empower families in Indonesia according to their potential and needs, then it means that the PKK movement also has the potential to empower society as a whole," said Widayati.
Two main things related to the theme of HKG 2022, namely 'Serving the Nation, Sharing for Others', according to Tri Tito Karnavian, are the volunteer spirit of the PKK movement as the basis for PKK's service to the nation and sharing with others and helping each other is the core of the PKK movement program.
"PKK is a working partner of the government, so PKK must be able to align with government policies and with a social approach pattern can increase the role and community in development," he continued.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji expressed his gratitude for the performance of TP PKK including other women's organizations. "Women are the pillars of the state. So if women are fragile then of course the state does not have strength. Women are extraordinary. Mothers are the madrasahs of all our children. I am amazed by my PKK friends, even though many are old but their souls are young," he said.
Furthermore, this bespectacled man said that the Malang City Government supports the TP PKK movement by providing stimulus, especially the Dinsos P3AP2KB whose duties and functions overlap with TP PKK activities.
“Gender Mainstreaming (PUG) is not only for women, but also for vulnerable groups. So PKK also often invites people with disabilities and the elderly to work together. So that's why PKK is related from PAUD to the elderly. There are PAUD Mothers, there are Elderly Mothers, well this is included in the PKK's field of work. In its mandate, PKK becomes a partner of the regional government so that what becomes a regional program also becomes a PKK program," explained Sutiaji.
In this activity, various appreciations were given. Among them were for the Outstanding Cadres, namely Wiwit Sugiarti (Blimbing District), Ida Fariani (Klojen District), Sulastri Utami (Kedungkandang District), Narcisse Manoppo (Lowokwaru District), and Mahmudah (Sukun District). Awards were also given to the Secretary of the TP PKK Working Group on behalf of Miefta Etiwinendar.
In addition, appreciation was also given to the winners of the competitions held by TP PKK throughout 2022.
