How the Malang City Manpower Office PMPTSP Reduces Unemployment Rates

Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – As is known and is being experienced together, the Covid-19 pandemic continues to threaten all aspects of life, without any clarity on when it will pass and end. The government has implemented various programs to ease the burden on people whose economy has been affected by the pandemic, especially for those who have lost their livelihoods/jobs and new job seekers.

Head of the Malang City PMPTSP Manpower Office, Arif Tri Sastyawan S.STP., M.Si symbolically handed over equipment to training participants, Monday (14/11/2022).

Meanwhile, finding a new job is not easy. Because it is related to opportunities, competence, skills, and the job field itself. In order to help increase insight, knowledge, skills and competence in the field of skin beauty, it is deemed necessary to carry out skin beauty training.

These are some of the things conveyed by the Head of the Manpower, Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service (Disnaker PMPTSP) of Malang City, Arif Tri Sastyawan S.STP., M.Si on Monday (14/11/2022) when opening the skin beauty training at the Maxone Hotel, Malang City.

The training, which was held from November 14-19, 2022, was attended by 36 participants. The training participants came from cigarette factory workers, cigarette factory workers affected by Termination of Employment (PHK) and job seekers.

Skin beauty training, said Arif, is currently still in great demand by the public because of high job opportunities, and the needs in the community are also high. "In this training, materials and techniques for caring for facial skin of various types of skin will be provided, starting from skin that is not problematic to skin with problems," he added.

"This training is considered important because the market opportunities are wide open. We hope that with the provision of qualified knowledge and skills learned in this training, participants can enter the world of work or open new business fields in their respective environments," explained Arif.

By opening a new business, he explained, it could require new employees. This will certainly help reduce the number of unemployed in the city of Malang. "The domino effect of all that will also help reduce poverty rates. Hopefully this activity can improve the skills and creativity of participants and be beneficial for all of us," concluded Arif.
