Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – As an effort to encourage economic recovery of the community after the pandemic, the Malang City Government (Pemkot) through the Cooperatives, Industry and Trade Service (Diskopindag) held a fashion making training at Hotel Montana 2, Monday (14/11/2022). This training aims to develop fashion businesses in Malang City.

This was conveyed by the Secretary of the Cooperatives, Industry and Trade Service (Diskopindag) of Malang City, Soni Bachtiar, SE., MM in his remarks when opening the training activity.
"Post-Covid-19 pandemic, the business world is now starting to climb. This momentum is an opportunity for Malang City MSMEs to develop their businesses or open new business opportunities. I hope that the participants have new business alternatives as a diversification of existing businesses," said Soni.
Furthermore, he hopes that through this fashion training, it can grow and develop business actors, especially in the fashion sector in Malang City. Because as is known, a business in the fashion sector can be defined as a business that can generate income sustainably. Because fashion will remain a necessity for many people in the future.
"I hope that the speakers who are present today can provide as much as possible what the participants need. So that the participants can develop their businesses. Where the participants in this training are based on fashion or sewing businesses," he added.
This fashion making training was attended by 55 participants. Where participants are UMKM actors who already have a sewing business or at least can sew. To support skills and productivity, participants also get sewing machine tools. (eka/ram)
