Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko attended the premiere of the film Tegar at Transmart XXI, Malang City, Tuesday (15/11/2022). Sofyan Edi Jarwoko also had the chance to meet the main actor of the film Tegar, namely Muhammad Aidil Tegarajasa who has special needs.
In addition to starring Muhammad Aidil Tegarajasa, the film by young director Anggi Friska also stars a number of famous stars. They are Deddy Mizwar, Sha Ine Febrianti.
Sofyan Edi Jarwoko admitted that he was happy that the film Tegar was screened in Malang City. According to him, the film was very inspiring. Because in limitations, it can still produce an extraordinary work. From the film Tegar everyone can learn that shortcomings should not be a reason for not being able to achieve success.
"We, together with expert staff, Mr. Vicky from Malang Creative Fusion, together with students in Malang City, filmmakers watched this film. Hopefully it can inspire," explained Deputy Mayor Sofyan Edi Jarwoko.
This is a continuation of 2019, Malang City has been designated as a creative city. Cinema, digital technology, and also films must continue to develop and also inspire with quality works from the nation's children.
"Now is the time for us to show creativity from Malang for the community, for the nation and also the world," said Ed.
Tegar film director Anggi Friska admitted that she was happy to be able to screen this film in Malang City, where the reception was extraordinary. Where teachers and children were interested in this film. Because there are many values taught.
"Thank you, Mr. Deputy Mayor of Malang and the students who have attended. This is a learning activity that is not only done in class. But learning can be through films to encourage children to be independent," explained Anggi. (cah/ram)
