Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Strengthening cooperation was the main topic in the Coordination Meeting between the Malang City Government and the Malang Regency Government together with the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) at the Red and White Building, Jakarta, Thursday (17/11/2022).
"I did contact the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK RI) to be facilitated and thankfully the response was positive, the KPK officially invited me along with several officials in the Malang City Government to attend the coordination meeting and consultation forum," said the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji while leading the group from Malang City.
Mayor Sutiaji expressed his gratitude to the Corruption Eradication Committee of the Republic of Indonesia, especially the Director
Supervision Coordination III which has invited and facilitated, as well as provided direction.
"The target for December 2022 is that there has been a joint formulation between Malang City and Malang Regency, especially the agreement on the contribution value. The KPK will continue to monitor the progress," explained Sutiaji.
Meanwhile, the Director of Supervision Coordination III of the KPK RI, Bachtiar Ujang Purnama, said that this coordination meeting was held in order to strengthen governance. Its construction, whatever policies are implemented by the regional government must truly benefit the community, be based on the principle of justice and comply with regulations.
One of the agendas discussed at the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK RI) was cooperation in the utilization and management of water sources between the Malang City Government and the Malang Regency Government. This coordination meeting brought positive results in the form of a joint commitment report on the resolution of the Wendit and Sumber Pitu water source problems.
Of course this is a positive note, after years (since October 2016), it can finally be unraveled and resolved. The joy and gratitude were also expressed by the Regent of Malang, Sanusi, who was also present at the KPK.
From Malang City, it was also attended by the Regional Secretary of Malang City, Erik Setyo Santoso, ST., MT, Inspector of Malang City, Drs. Mulyono, Assistant for Economy and Development of Malang City, Ir. Diah Ayu Kusumadewi, ST., MT, and echelon II officials of Malang City Government.
