Meanwhile, one of the participants of Ngalam Heritage Run, Muhammad Zidan, said that he was very enthusiastic about participating in Ngalam Heritage Run, and expressed the same hopes considering that running is currently very popular.

"The track is very steady, earlier there were many uphill and downhill roads. I hope running events like this can be held more often. So that it can bring out young potential, maybe currently there are many athletes who are already old. With something like this, maybe there are athletes who are still in elementary school, junior high school and high school who can participate and maybe represent Malang City to the province and so on. Currently, running is viral, usually participating in 5K, this is the first time participating in 10K. When I found out about this event from Instagram, I was immediately interested in participating," said Zidan.

Also present at the Ngalam Heritage Run were Ida Ayu Made Wahyuni, SH, M.Si who directly opened and sent off the 10K run participants, as well as the heads of regional apparatuses in the Malang City Government, representatives of the Malang City Forkopimda, Malang City KONI and the All-Indonesia Athletics Association (PASI) of Malang City.
