Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government is considered successful in collecting corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds. Due to this success, the Pekalongan City Government conducted a working visit to Malang City, Wednesday (23/11/2022).
This visit was led by the Mayor of Pekalongan, H. Achmad Alf Arslan Djunaidi and the Chairman of Commission A of the Pekalongan City DPRD, Gumelar.
Malang Mayor, Drs. H. Sutiaji revealed that building a city cannot be done by the government alone. Collaboration with various parties is needed, including companies to participate in contributing to the city.
"To build Malang City, we continue to carry out various collaborations, not only pentahelix, but also hexahelix," explained Sutiaji.
According to Sutiaji, the government needs to communicate well with various parties. So that it can make the city a shared property. That is the key so that all parties, including companies, are willing to participate in building a region.
According to Sutiaji, this is in accordance with the initial determination to lead the city of Malang. At that time, the mayor carried the vision and mission of Malang as a Dignified City. Building a city that is an industrial city, a city of education, and also a city of trade and services.
"To be able to invite many parties to cooperate with the government, the key is that the government must not think negatively. The government must be present, to run the government is an extraordinary burden. It cannot be done alone, there must be a lot of collaboration," said Sutiaji.
Pekalongan Mayor, H. Achmad Alf Arslan Djunaidi said, his party deliberately came to Malang City to learn. One of them is related to the success of Malang City in attracting companies to participate in building the city with CSR.
"After we were inaugurated in 2021. There were problems, the point is for the benefit of the community," said Achmad.
To overcome these various problems, Pekalongan City deliberately came to Malang City to explore and utilize CSR funds. Because with various existing problems, it is not enough to rely only on funds from the APBD.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Commission A of the Pekalongan City DPRD, Gumelar, revealed that his team came to Malang City to learn about CSR. This was done because Malang City has extraordinary capabilities in involving CSR funds.
"What are the practices like, what is the development like, we want to learn from Malang City," said Gumelar. (cah/ram)
