Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Various efforts have been made by the Malang City Government ahead of the new year 2023 until the simultaneous elections in 2024 so that the conduciveness that has been built so far is maintained properly. As depicted in the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) evaluating the development of social dynamics in Malang City which was held at the Mini Block Office (MBO) on Friday (2/12/2022).
At this moment, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji invited the ranks of Forkopimda Plus to take various steps so that Malang City remains conducive. No less important is also related to the Aremania demonstration which every Sunday holds an action and triggers traffic jams. This action is a form of demand for the Kanjuruhan tragedy to be thoroughly investigated.
In response to this, the number one person in the Malang City Government said that the goal is right, but don't let that goal be ridden by certain parties. "The worry is that later there will be people who don't want that goodness. Don't let Arema's conducive and peaceful image be ridden by irresponsible individuals," added Sutiaji.
Likewise, in the welcoming moment of the change of year 2022 to 2023, his party appealed to the public not to celebrate excessively. "We have coordinated with the ranks of the TNI-Polri, religious leaders, community leaders and youth organizations to maintain the conduciveness of this city," explained the bespectacled man.
At this moment, Sutiaji also reminded about the 2024 simultaneous elections, where the echo is currently still echoing. He also advised the public to remain vigilant and make the democratic party a means of strengthening national unity. "Differences or different choices are something natural. Make differences a beauty," he said.
"In any case, let us maintain tolerance, respect the independence of every citizen and remain within the framework of the Republic of Indonesia. Indonesia, and Malang City in particular, has a heterogeneous population. So if there are many differences, it is very natural. Basically, being different is beautiful but still within the framework of Bhineka Tunggal Ika," concluded Sutiaji. (say/ram)
