"Our focus is related to the anticipation of the end of the year which is usually quite significant in causing an increase in inflation at the end of the year. Therefore, we ask all regional heads to anticipate it. Especially for areas that are quite large in celebrating Christmas and New Year. Because of the increase in demand for several types of food commodities," he continued.
Furthermore, Tomsi also hopes that all regional governments can make innovations, breakthroughs, new ideas to overcome inflation in their respective regions. He also added that the need for regions to immediately absorb regional spending budgets, and for regions that have not used Unexpected Assistance (BTT) to be able to utilize it.
"If the allocation allows, please (BTT) can be used. Then also including social assistance to be distributed optimally. In addition, considering that this has entered the second week of December at the end of 2022, in order to maximize the realization of the regional spending budget," he added again. (ayu/ram)
