Mental Revolution from Malang City for Indonesia to Serve

Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Known as a city of education, Malang is also often labeled as a miniature archipelago. It is not an exaggeration, because with the existence of more than 50 universities in Malang, this city with an area of 114 km2 has become a reference and has students from all districts/cities in Indonesia.

Implementation of the Malang City Government in the Indonesia Serving program

If the government (President Joko Widodo) has inaugurated the Nusantara dormitory, then the City of Malang (Malang City Government) will build and actively involve and participatively create an academic environment in which students (university students) participate in the pace of regional development.

The policy is strengthened through the hexahelix strategy, namely the active involvement of elements A (Academics), B (Business/Business Actors), C (Community), G (Government), M (Media) and P (Banking). One of the activities that is intensively carried out to strengthen it as well as become a stimulus for the United Indonesia Movement in the campus environment is cooperation between local governments and universities in the field of national insight.

In line with this as well as the actualization and implementation of the Indonesia Melayani program to the regional level, the Malang City Government has presented the Public Service Mall (MPP). Not only presenting public services taken by the Malang City Government through its regional apparatus, but in MPP has also presented effective public services by vertical agencies, including services from the National Land Agency (BPN), Immigration Office, Samsat, Ministry of Religion, Prosecutor's Office, BPJS Health and Employment and others.

The public is also increasingly pampered with the convenience of digital services, such as Si Izol (Online Permit System), SiApel (Electric Population Administration Information System), Simbada (Regional Goods Management Information System), and others.

In order to further strengthen the principles of transparency, participation and accountability in order to strengthen the Indonesia Tertib program, the Malang City Government continues to strengthen the ecosystem of public information openness. In addition to optimizing the role and function of the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID), the Malang City Government has developed an online complaint service channel through the Integrated Community Asking Application System (Sambat) Online which is also integrated with the People's Online Aspiration and Complaint Service (LAPOR) from the Ministry of PAN RB.

As a form of egalitarianism, protecting all citizens and being inclusive, Sambat Online Malang City has also been equipped with a text to speech feature, a service for the disabled. (ram)
