Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Dozens of children with special needs or children with special needs were present at the Malang Mayor's Official Residence, Saturday (31/12/2022). They are children with special needs, cancer patients, and thalassemia.
At the end of 2022, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji invited these special children to a prayer and sharing event. The Mayor accompanied by the Chairperson of TP PKK, Widayati Sutiaji together with representatives of Baznas and Bank Jatim provided assistance to special children, as well as assistance in the form of basic food packages to parents.
“You all are our strength. You all are our pearls. My children are all special people. "The family is also great, if you weren't all great people, you wouldn't have been entrusted with such a special gift," said Sutiaji.
Sutiaji motivated the disabled and children with cancer and thalassemia to continue to be enthusiastic and develop all their potential. In this activity, the mayor also invited all those present to pray together.
"Children, pray for your parents, pray for the people around you, pray for Malang City, pray for our country, God willing, all of my children will become useful people," he invited.
In the midst of their condition that requires more attention, these children looked cheerful following the event. Laughter and happy expressions radiated from these special children. Entertainment from clowns made the event even more lively. These children were even happier when the Head of TP PKK invited the children and their parents or guardians to tour the city by riding a Macito. (ari/ram)
