The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs said there were three points that needed to be re-emphasized based on the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia. "Vaccination awareness must continue to be encouraged, because it will help increase immunity. The community must be more independent in preventing transmission, detecting symptoms and seeking treatment. Government officials and institutions will always be on standby where health facilities in all regions are ready with facilities and health workers," explained Deputy Minister of Home Affairs John Wempi about the second point.
He further stated that the government ensures that the vaccination mechanism in the field continues to run, especially vaccination. boost in the transition period. In addition, the Covid-19 Task Force, both at the central and regional levels, is maintained to respond to the rapid spread, so that regional task forces remain during the transition period.

Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Panjaitan explained that this policy was implemented with various considerations, including the controlled Covid-19 pandemic situation, high levels of immunity in the community, better health capacity readiness, and rapid economic recovery.
