Focusing on Completing Work Programs, Mayor Sutiaji Seriously Improves the Quality of Public Services

Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – Improving the quality and performance of the Malang City Government (Pemkot), especially improving the quality of service to the community is the main target of the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji in 2023.

Various achievements that led to awards during the leadership period of Malang Mayor Sutiaji did not make the mayor who is often called Sam Sutiaji complacent, especially related to the quality of public services. Sutiaji is also increasingly intense in highlighting the quality of services that must continue to be improved in order to create public satisfaction.

As photographed on Wednesday (4/1/2022), the Mayor of Malang accompanied by the Malang City Government Assistant ranks conducted a surprise inspection (sidak) to Tasikmadu Village and Tunggulwulung Village. The presence of the Mayor of Malang was not only to ensure that public services could run well, but also to have direct dialogue with all village officials in order to resolve problems that occurred in the village area.

"I took the time to be here to check the services and find direct solutions to existing problems, such as public facilities that need to be fixed immediately and infrastructure needed by residents," said Sutiaji.

Sutiaji further said that his party also conducted internal checks on the apparatus in the sub-district such as attendance and office facilities and infrastructure. "Currently, I am also monitoring all structural officials in the sub-district so that each can explain their functions, work plans and performance progress," explained the badminton enthusiast.

Sutiaji also emphasized that all structural officials can remain focused so that their performance targets can be achieved. "Improving performance in 2023 is our shared target so that Malang City becomes a dignified city according to the vision and mission that have been set," he said.

At this moment, the closeness of the number one person in the Malang City Government with his staff was very apparent. There was no awkward atmosphere in the ongoing dialogue, and this became a unique and interesting moment.

Sutiaji also reminded about Update community conditions, especially related to Posyandu, malnourished babies (stunting), and special attention to people with disabilities. Sutiaji really hopes that the community can be truly served from various aspects as a form of commitment to the vision and mission that have been set.

"We will carry out this inspection consistently in all regional apparatuses (in the Malang City Government environment) in turns. The goal is of course to motivate ASN in the Malang City Government environment to continue to innovate in order to improve performance," he said. (hms/yon)
