These are some of the things conveyed by the Head of the Malang City Health Office, dr. Husnul Muarif, Thursday (5/1/2023). He said that every citizen must always be vigilant, eat healthy and nutritious food, keep the environment clean, and routinely check their health by utilizing health facilities, for example those served by BPJS Kesehatan.

The bespectacled man added that in Malang City, there are many and easy ways to get health services, and you don't even have to wait until you are sick to come for a check-up when the weather is extreme like now.

"Although the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) has been revoked by the government, residents should still wear masks in conditions like these," said Husnul.

In addition, he explained, frequent rain will also trigger puddles of water which will eventually be occupied by mosquito larvae to breed. Therefore, residents must also be aware of mosquito outbreaks such as dengue fever. "Take care of our environment. If there is puddles of water, clean it immediately. Prevention is better than cure," said Husnul.

"No less important, to maintain a healthy body condition and not easily attacked by disease, can consume vitamin C and exercise diligently. Exercise does not have to be heavy and outside the house. Exercise can be done at home simply and done routinely even if only 10-20 minutes every day," he concluded. (say/yon)
