Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The socialization of the Implementation of the Proposed Main Ideas of the Malang City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) together with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Prevention Coordination and Supervision Team (Korsupgah) was held in the Plenary Meeting Room of the Malang City DPRD, Monday (16/1/2023).
Also present on this occasion were the Chairman of the Malang City DPRD I Made Rian Diana Kartika, Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. Sofyan Edy Jarwoko, Regional Secretary of Malang City Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT and attended by 45 members of the Malang City DPRD along with the ranks of the Head of Regional Apparatus in the Malang City Government. This socialization activity is a form of effort by the Malang City Government to carry out development planning as well as possible and prevent corruption from occurring early on.
Malang City Regional Secretary Erik Setyo Santoso revealed that the 2024 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) discussion process is currently underway, and the current stage is in the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) stage. "In the preparation of the 2024 RKPD, there are three pillars used for the preparation of planning which is currently in progress," Erik explained, Monday (16/1).
He explained that the first pillar is through the development planning deliberation (musrenbang) which is the result of deliberations carried out by the community. The second pillar is through the regional apparatus forum, namely programs originating from the regional apparatus' strategic plan (renstra).
And the third pillar is the formulation of programs that originate from the main ideas that are being discussed together with the Malang City DPRD.
"We hope to get direct direction and advice from the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) on regulations for carrying out tasks in accordance with applicable regulations," said Erik.
The Director of Coordination and Supervision of Region III of the Corruption Eradication Committee of the Republic of Indonesia, Brigadier General Bahtiar Ujang Purnama, virtually said that if you have spoken with the Corruption Eradication Committee, then what is communicated is about anti-corruption.
But in the scope of anti-corruption there are things that are very technical in nature that are not only from the KPK. "It can involve the Ministry of Home Affairs, but sometimes it is ignored by the government," explained Brigadier General Ujang.
He further stated that the KPK's task is not only to eradicate corruption, the KPK also always provides education and socialization on preventing corruption such as reporting LHKPN & gratification so that it can minimize, suppress, or even eliminate criminal acts of corruption. (cah/yon)
