Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) continues to strengthen its commitment to realizing good governance. For this reason, the Malang City Government through the Malang City Regional Inspectorate held Education and Training on the Implementation of Minimum Service Standards (SPM) for Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) at the Savana Hotel, Monday (16/1/2023).
Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji said that APIP has a strategic role in overseeing the agenda for completing the 2018-2023 Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) targets.
This capability strengthening aims to ensure that the implementation of government runs in accordance with the expected goals and targets, especially in the context of overseeing policies and completing the development targets of Malang City.
"Today we are here for literacy development. Strengthening qualifications in the implementation of SPM is a must, because we are from level two to level three, then in terms of strata we go up. So it must be accompanied by strengthening literacy from each HR (human resources)," explained the Mayor of Malang.
He further explained that the capability of APIP Malang City has now reached level three (integrated). Which means that APIP has carried out its supervisory function (assurance and consulting) in accordance with the standards. In addition, the results of APIP supervision have been of quality in providing adequate assurance of compliance and 3E (Economic, Efficiency and Effectiveness), early warning, and increasing the effectiveness of risk management, as well as improving governance.
"The improvement notes become a joint evaluation to be followed up. Among others, through the development of HR competencies, such as job certification and professional certification supporting supervision and technical substance. Optimizing the use of risk assessment results from management to be more oriented towards strategic programs. Strengthening coordination and strategic communication periodically," explained the bespectacled man.
Furthermore, the Mayor of Malang advised regarding the prevention of the risk of failure to achieve targets to be more focused. And also continue to produce solution recommendations for problems and implementation of regional policies and continue to increase capacity in supporting the implementation of tasks.
